How can we use podcasts ...let me count the ways.
Wikipedia defines "Innovation" as "the process of making improvements by introducing something new ". So what our LC is studying is how to make improvements in OUR jobs and clients with this relatively new technology. We all have job descriptions with very specific verbs...does that one verb that describes your primary job lend itself to the use of this technology? Can you iCoach? Can you Provide iFollow-up, iPractice, and iRemediation?
Higher education was an innovator with this technology, One of the first to embark in this realm was Duke University. After one year of using iPods with their student population they conducted a poll and found that different students found this technology most useful in different ways, as shown by the chart.
Our clients have different needs, schedules, mandates. So how we use this technology will depend on our client and our "verb". We could use the same technology, even the same content - but tailored to our client and our "verb". It is not an extra. HMMM I wonder if "meet" is one of my verbs.

NBC failed to recognize change and as a result cut 700 jobs expenses of $750 million. “You have to think about the tremendous changes that are taking place in the media landscape,” said Jeff Zucker, chief executive of NBC Universal’s television group. “The pace of change over the next five years is going to dwarf the pace of change over the last 50 years and we’re going to have to get out in front of it.”
Technology changes on a daily basis. What happens if ipods become obsolete within the next year? Wouldn't our "verb" have to be expansive enough to include this change?
